Welcome

The Valiant Sailor pub is well situated on the cliff-top between Folkestone and Capel Le Ferne. The Old Dover Road that stretches between Dover and Folkestone passes by the pub which makes it an ideal stopping point for those travelling on holiday or on a daytrip to France or Europe. Dover Ferry Terminal for cross channel Ferries is only 12 minutes away and the Channel Tunnel is only 7 minutes away.

The surrounding area is great for cycling, mountain biking and walking or rambling as the North Downs Way passes along the cliffs to the back of the pub. Access to fantastic views from the cliffs over The Warren and Folkestone is a great draw for photographers and photographic societies.  

We serve a wide range of freshly prepared food daily to suit all taste buds and have a wide selection of wines and beers to compliment any meal.
